When is the deadline for purchasing crop insurance for the upcoming year?
Generally the sales closing date for Spring seeded crops is March 15.
What is the difference between Optional Unit Structure and Enterprise Unit Structure?
With Optional Units, the production of each crop from the section is measured against the
planted acres to determine if there is a loss. Enterprise Units, the production of each crop
from all planted acres in the county is totaled and measured against all the planted acres
in the county to determine if there is a loss. 
How soon should I report a loss?
When there is damage or loss of production, the notice of loss should
be filed within 72 hours of the initial discovery and not later than 15 days
after the end of the insurance period.
